Hi, I'm Julie!

 

I'm the person behind Knitted Bliss Stitching, and I'm so glad you're here!

 

I've been sharing my love of knitting on my blog, Knitted Bliss, for many years, and in 2020 I decided to bring two of my favourite creative pursuits together: knitting and embroidery. That's how Knitted Bliss Stitching was born!

 

I love the possibilities of adding embroidery to knitted things, whether that's embellishing a handknit sweater, giving a favourite cardigan a new lease on life, or adding a little personality to a store-bought piece. You'll find that knitting and knitted fabrics are a common thread throughout my designs, although you certainly don't need to be a knitter to enjoy them!

Every design starts with me. I draw the artwork, choose the colours, develop the stitching instructions and put together every kit and stick-and-stitch pack. Every physical product in the shop has passed through my hands, from the initial design to the final packaging. 

 

A little creativity goes a long way.

 

I'm a big believer in making the most of what we already have. Rather than replacing a sweater, jacket or favourite piece of clothing that feels a little tired, why not give it a new life with some embroidery? I love the idea of taking something ordinary and making it personal, a little unexpected, and entirely your own.

 

I'm also mindful of the materials I use and make an effort to choose environmentally conscious options wherever possible. Small creative choices can make a difference, and I love that embroidery gives us another way to enjoy and extend the life of the things we already own.

 

Whether you're a lifelong stitcher or picking up a needle for the very first time, I hope you'll find something here that makes you excited to get stitching.
